Little Boots
Vampire Weekend

Of the ones I have heard I don’t like any of them. Sorry but I think the vocals aren’t anything special.

What’s with everyone tring to be “unique” by listening to “indie” or “unknown” bands now? Why can’t people just listen to what they want & not care what other people think?

I listen to: The XX, Vampire Weekend, Little Boots, Arcade Fire, Bat For Lashes, Bloc Party, Florence and the Machine, Empire of the Sun, Friendly Fires, Kasabian, Phoenix and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

I know a lot from that list by name mainly because of sites like Pitchfork Media but only listen to the above.

Yeah, I listen to WAY to much music. But seriously that last line “I can bet most of you don’t know any.” leads me to believe you have some sort of superiority complex when it comes to music. please dont

Yes, I love A-Punk by Vampire Weekend, I’ve heard of Arcade Fire and Belle and Sebastian, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are okay. A lot of these others I’ve never heard of, though.

I’ve heard of Paolo Nutini, Florence and the Machine, Empire of the Sun, Scissor Sisters and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but I don’t listen to their songs, because I don’t really like them.

i know vampire weekend and yeah yeah yeahs.
Everybody has their own preference in music, so its not that big of a deal that many people don’t know these bands (including me).
